Beginner on the Piste
- You've never skied -
Intermediate

Intermediate on Piste
- You've skied a few weeks, you ski with confidence on the blue and green slopes and red slopes if they are not too steepy and in good condition. -
Good

Good on the Piste
- You ski well parallel, you are very comfortable and familiar with the red track and most of black run if they are in good conditions (the minimum level required to attend courses Initiation Hors Piste) . You are comfortable and confident ski on all tracks groomed trails including black unless the conditions are icy or very difficult. Able to make short turns in the fall line and longer carves turns. -
Expert

Expert on the Piste
- You ski very comfortably on all tracks and master perfectly your technic whatever the degree of slope.
You are fit and enjoy skiing all day.

Introduction

Beginner Off Piste
- You have a good track, you ski very comfortably on all red and black runs mostly if they are in good conditions.
You have never been off piste and you want to learn the basics and rules corresponding security. -
Intermediate

Intermediate Off Piste
- You have done 3 to 5 weeks of skiing off piste and you fancy a new challenge. You are able to do between 10 and 15 consecutive turns into a powdery snow easily.
You have trouble to adapt to different types of snow and you fall or are forced to stop because you lose control of your speed.
You feel you need to improve your technic and your experience to enjoy the off piste. -
Good

Good Off piste
- You have done at least 6 to 9 weeks of skiing off piste and you're ready to attack more sustained slopes.
You can easily do 10 to 15 short and controlled corners in the fall line under most off piste conditions, but when conditions are really tough you are obliged to force.
You like off piste and want to acquire more experience and technic. -
Expert

Expert Off piste
You have a lot of experience off piste, you are very confident in all types of snow and conditions.
You do not see any objection to a short walk to find a nice run and are constantly dreaming of the perfect run.
